Below is a calendar of important dates to remember for filing issues
and petitions. This calendar
is only a guideline. If you have questions about

| Jan. 31, 2012 | Annual campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm |
| Feb. 6, 2012 | Voter registration closes for the March 6th Primary Election |
| Feb. 23, 2012 | Pre-primary election campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm. |
| March 6, 2012 | PRIMARY/SPECIAL ELECTION (polls open at 6:30 am until 7:30 pm). |
| April13, 2012 | Post-primary election campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm. |
| July 31, 2012 | Semi-annual election campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm. |
| Aug. 7, 2012 | SPECIAL ELECTION may be held. |
| Aug. 8, 2012 | Local questions, issues and candidates nominating petitions for races appearing in the Nov. 6th Election must be filed by 4:00 pm |
| Aug. 27, 2012 | Write-In candidates must file Declaration of Intent for the General Election by 4:00 pm. |
| Oct. 9, 2012 | Voter registration closes for the General Election. |
| Oct. 25, 2012 | Pre-general election campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm. |
| Nov. 6, 2012 | GENERAL ELECTION (polls open at 6:30 am to 7:30 pm). |
| Dec. 14, 20112 | Post-general election campaign finance reports must be filed by 4:00 pm. |
